We are quite proud of this Straitjacket. We started by looking at the classic, institutional, canvas-and-leather straitjacket, and made a few changes which we felt would make it more appropriate for our fetish/bondage clientele use. First, we changed the colors from the usual off-white with brown straps to black on black, with attractive silver buckles. Second, we went for a slightly more stylish cut. (It is unlikely that the hospital-restraint designers ever considered whether their jacket would look good on a lover, or worn at a fetish-oriented metropolitan nightclub.) And finally, the canvas we use is still heavy duty, but slightly lighter-weight. This makes our jacket more comfortable, but still more than strong enough to hold up in serious erotic bondage situations.
