Both pieces are individual units with D-rings, lockable buckles, and adjustable straps that can be linked in any way you desire. Their construction allows them to be used as ankle restraints or wrist restraints, allowing for a variety of ways to play. Locks can be added to the buckles for making them inescapable, but are not necessary to keep them secure.
